Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caco da Fonseca kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Rotulo EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armando Netto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. João Francisco Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Velasco having to interfere. If João Francisco Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute of the match Cristian Bastos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Velasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Armando Netto fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipueirinha's protests and gave Armando Netto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rotulo EC booed when Ipueirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco da Fonseca in the 16th minute of the match. Washington Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco da Fonseca went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 21 played minutes Rotulo EC got a freekick which was hit by Duda de Salles. João Francisco Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Washington Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Peres went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Caco da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Washington Leão. Ipueirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Ipueirinha getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. João Francisco Chaves hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Rotulo EC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Chaves came free, but Alexandre Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipueirinha's goalkeeper Washington Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Francisco Chaves made a kick off. João Francisco Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Velasco having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Rotulo EC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Chaves came free, but Alexandre Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Ipueirinha's goalkeeper Washington Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Peres. Leandro Neiva hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Alessandro Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Washington Leão made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Norberto Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Francisco Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alexandre Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovani Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, João Francisco Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipueirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
