The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cilandia's Dorian Tavares got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 8 played minutes Jaguaracu got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Paiva. In the 9th minute, Waldir Abraão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Naldo Azevedo. The goal made the score 1-0. Nico Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Naldo Azevedo made a huge save. After 16 minutes of play, Cilandia's Nico Soeiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Azevedo having to interfere. Nico Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Naldo Azevedo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Jaguaracu's zone, Waldir Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Azevedo came out of the goal and Waldir Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Jaguaracu getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lenílson de Carvalho hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Nico Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cilandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jaguaracu! Waldir Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Azevedo having to interfere. In the 40th minute Waldir Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Waldir Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cilandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Hílton Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Nico Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Abraão in the 58th minute of play forced Jaguaracu's goalkeeper Naldo Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th play minute Percy Abreu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised José Augusto Goiano. 4-1. When Cilandia's Waldir Abraão in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaguaracu's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Jaguaracu's Renatinho Paraíba got a free kick in the 65th minute. Naldo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Waldir Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Azevedo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Soeiro in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Azevedo saved Jaguaracu from getting behind. Naldo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Azevedo having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Percy Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaguaracu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naldo Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Soeiro went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Waldir Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrézinho Arruda's late challenge caught a Jaguaracu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrézinho Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Natanael de Sena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Augusto Goiano. The goal made the score 5-2. When the referee ended the match the Cilandia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
