André Luís Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ousadia e Maestria FC's Cristiano de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Cristiano de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, André Luís Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ousadia e Maestria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luís Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Augusto Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute of the match Caco Tróia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Lago skillfully saved the ball. Zeca Motta's late challenge caught a Cilandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano de Carvalho made a kick off. If Nico Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Nico Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cilandia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Waldir Abraão hit a great ball. Eduardo Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir Abraão struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eduardo Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cilandia. André Luís Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play, Cilandia's Nico Soeiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Dida Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Lago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico Soeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ousadia e Maestria FC's Eduardo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Soeiro in the 91st minute of play. Eduardo Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Abraão's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cilandia fully deserved thier win.
