Vitinho Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Gaspar having to interfere. Lars Pålsson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Nilson Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felipão FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipão FC's Lars Pålsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilson Corrêa. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Lars Pålsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nilson Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Bernardo Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Felipão FC's Silvério Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Bernardo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Curimatau SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Trancoso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 45th of the match, Lars Pålsson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nilson Corrêa got in the way and made a wonderful save. Silvério Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Pålsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Augusto Mandrak in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 52 played minutes Curimatau SC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Trancoso. José Augusto Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Corrêa having to interfere. Célio Lopez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvério Gaspar. Felipão FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nilson Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Felipão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fabiano da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Lars Pålsson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Corrêa. Nilson Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, José Augusto Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felipão FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Augusto Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Barbosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Silvério Gaspar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Felipão FC fully deserved thier win.
