Pebas's Dinei Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chico Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Vale in the 32nd minute. In the 45th match minute, Pebas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Dionísio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. Chico Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Andrade in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pebas's goalkeeper Chico Dionísio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Andrade in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Dionísio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute Manibu AD were awarded a corner. William Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. 62 minutes into the match, Pebas's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Vale came free, but Chico Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Dinei Saraiva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 71st minute Clóvis Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Lauro Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manibu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Dionísio having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Manibu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Leal to maneuver through the defense. If Dinei Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Dionísio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Andrade's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manibu AD had won after a very even match.
