Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Evandro Abraão made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Evandro Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ijui's Egídio Schmidt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeferson Catarinense in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Souza saved ScorpionsS from getting behind. Jeferson Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Souza having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jeferson Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ijui's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egídio Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Umberto Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Schmidt came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ScorpionsS's Moisés Chaves. But to his dismay, Moisés Chaves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 24th match minute, ScorpionsS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Vale to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play ScorpionsS's Nilton Vale was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jeferson Duarte in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olavo Souza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Jeferson Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ijui's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half ScorpionsS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Jeferson Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Wiliam Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Egídio Schmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Ijui's zone, Wiliam Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Schmidt came out of the goal and Wiliam Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egídio Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Wiliam Toscano sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Fabiano Souto from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Egídio Schmidt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jeferson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Jeferson Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ijui's Egídio Schmidt got control of the ball when Wiliam Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luizinho Macedo's late challenge caught a ScorpionsS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizinho Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Ijui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Macedo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ijui's Umberto Neiva got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Toscano got free with Egídio Schmidt in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeferson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Wiliam Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egídio Schmidt. Ijui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiliam Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Raphael Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Egídio Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
