The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ronaldo Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nicolas Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cachorro Sem Dono FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Cachorro Sem Dono FC's Ronaldo Mineiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The audience was convinced that Vladimir Sabóia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Lertxun was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachorro Sem Dono FC's goalkeeper Serafin Lertxun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Umberto Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Lertxun. Cachorro Sem Dono FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Maria Zonta got free with Nicolas Lira in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Cachorro Sem Dono FC booed when Tujucue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Mineiro in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caco Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Umberto Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Serafin Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute Váldson de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vladimir Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Vladimir Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tujucue's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
