The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Madruga Academy's Luizão Salgado got control of the ball when Dalmo Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, DAddario FC's Dalmo Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizão Salgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pedrão Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luizão Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrão Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, César Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DAddario FC's Dalmo Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to DAddario FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dan Oțeteleșanu hit a great ball. Madruga Academy's Jacinto Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedrão Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of DAddario FC booed when Madruga Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Dorian Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irtautas Macevicius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, DAddario FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Negri came free, but Irtautas Macevicius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrão Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Luizão Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrão Nascimento made a kick off. Ulysses Paes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Irtautas Macevicius came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulysses Paes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 52nd minute. Luizão Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Nascimento in the 56th minute of play. Dalmo Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DAddario FC's Irtautas Macevicius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Trigo in the 59th minute of play. Dorian Negri hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Luizão Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Nascimento in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Pedrão Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizão Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmo Quirino in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizão Salgado saved Madruga Academy from getting behind. Luizão Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dalmo Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Salgado having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Dalmo Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizão Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Dalmo Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
