ZeotavioBR's Telmo Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Zonta in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Toriba got a freekick which was hit by Beto Vaz. The long shot by Aloísio Tavares in the 31st minute really tested Rômulo de Castro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 35 minutes into the match, ZeotavioBR's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Zonta came free, but Telmo Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Telmo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The shot was a little too simple and Rômulo de Castro could save by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafinha Antunes made a kick off. Telmo Mattos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beto Vaz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 51 minute of play. After 55 played minutes Toriba got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Cardoso. After 59 minutes, Rafinha Antunes made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Toriba's Rômulo de Castro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ZeotavioBR's Telmo Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu das Neves in the 66th minute of play. After 66 played minutes ZeotavioBR got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Coutinho. After a defensive mix-up in ZeotavioBR's zone, Dudu das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Mattos came out of the goal and Dudu das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dudu das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Toriba's zone, Rafinha Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo de Castro came out of the goal and Rafinha Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toriba's Dudu das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Eduardo Zonta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Telmo Mattos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dudu das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Mattos having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
