The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakut Bağcıoğlu got free with Juvenal Zonta in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sakut Bağcıoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juvenal Zonta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Hílton Trancoso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dé de Azevedo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Augusto Faria's late challenge caught a Reserva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iuri Ortiz in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Reserva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when José Augusto Faria scored to the left of an out of position Dé de Azevedo, making the score, 0-3. 84 minutes into the match, Reserva's goalkeeper Dé de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Barbosa.
