Claude Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 15th minute of the match. Claude Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Turi Guijarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ona Somrient FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Silvano Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ona Somrient FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Herrero went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Ona Somrient FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Nigel Devos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claude Erosa quite easily take care of the ball. Idacio Sánchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kobe Bryant to strike the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Herrero in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Bryant in the 54th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillaume Bonte made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Yves Dervaux however managed to control. 75 minutes into the match, Ona Somrient FC's goalkeeper Claude Erosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Bryant in the 77th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Belgium booed when Ona Somrient FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Alcantara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yves Dervaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Erosa having to interfere.
