When Guga Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Númenor FC's protests and gave Guga Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Númenor FC's Guga Almeida got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Gualter Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Guerra having to interfere. Númenor FC's Daniel Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Simão in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gualter Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Númenor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Augusto Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristóvão Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Augusto Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Toledo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Númenor FC's William Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Carlos Augusto Meira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but William Toledo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, William Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Carlos Augusto Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Guga Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Toledo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Carlos Augusto Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Númenor FC. Gualter Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Daniel Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Cristóvão Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Montenegro's late challenge caught a Númenor FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that William Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Augusto Meira was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Betim Saint Italian's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Gualter Bittencourt scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Augusto Meira, making the score, 1-4. After 93rd play minutes Gualter Botelho shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Daniel Guerra and just under the crossbar into goal.
