Beto Messias was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Cássio Hoffmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cássio Hoffmann really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 11th minute, Cássio Hoffmann fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Beto Messias, passed just outside the right post. S.E Santa Rita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Silver Star booed when S.E Santa Rita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Amorim's late challenge caught a S.E Santa Rita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Cássio Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. Beto Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rômulo de Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Valdemar Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Beto Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Hoffmann in the 64th minute of the match. Rômulo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Almeida having to interfere. When S.E Santa Rita's Peter-Michael Van Damme in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valdemar Almeida made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Rômulo de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Silver Star's Arí Meireles got a free kick in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo de Carvalho got free with Valdemar Almeida in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdemar Almeida came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E Santa Rita's Rômulo de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Rômulo de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silver Star's goalkeeper Valdemar Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Michael Van Damme in the 98th minute of play forced Silver Star's goalkeeper Valdemar Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Silver Star supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching S.E Santa Rita's performance. The match ended with a win for S.E Santa Rita.
