In the 4th minute, Gualter Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo Gomes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, William Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edmundo Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raí Leão's late challenge caught a Númenor FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raí Leão helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Númenor FC booed when Walter´S FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Toledo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Edmundo Gomes was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Guga Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guga Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Númenor FC's Daniel Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Quadros in the 27th minute of play. William Toledo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Edmundo Gomes 31 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Gualter Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo Gomes. Walter´S FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Cristóvão Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Gomes having to interfere. William Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gualter Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Gomes having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Númenor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Toledo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, William Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualter Bittencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmundo Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Edmundo Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Toledo in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, William Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Edmundo Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute William Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gualter Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Gomes having to interfere. Gualter Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Edmundo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that William Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Gomes was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Gualter Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmundo Gomes came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Númenor FC's William Toledo. But to his dismay, William Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Edmundo Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Toledo went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score.
