Beto Messias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rômulo de Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Abel Saraiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rômulo de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Abel Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E Santa Rita. Abel Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter-Michael Van Damme in the 37th minute of the match. Beto Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter-Michael Van Damme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Saraiva came out of the goal and Peter-Michael Van Damme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Paranaense shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The S.E Santa Rita fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when S.E Santa Rita's Peter-Michael Van Damme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Beto Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Claudinei Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beto Messias having to make a save. Rômulo de Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Rômulo de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Abel Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E Santa Rita. S.E Santa Rita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
