Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Gualter Botelho made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the match, Guaibim's Pedro Luiz Braga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Meira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Betim Saint Italian's Abelardo Sena got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Pedro Luiz Braga came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Guaibim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz Braga couldn't finish the play. Ulisses Félix succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 20th playminute. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Gualter Botelho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yan Baiano made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ulisses Félix sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, Ulisses Félix notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Guaibim's Yan Baiano. Yan Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Luiz Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Luiz Braga made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ulisses Félix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Betim Saint Italian fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Ulisses Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes, Gualter Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaibim and the Betim Saint Italian players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gualter Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yan Baiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulisses Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. Yan Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Botelho in the 63rd minute of the match. Frederico Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederico Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Betim Saint Italian getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Frederico Montenegro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Betim Saint Italian's Gualter Botelho got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guaibim's zone, Frederico Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Baiano came out of the goal and Frederico Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yan Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Guaibim's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Botelho came free, but Yan Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yan Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Betim Saint Italian's Ulisses Félix in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guaibim's goalie prevented a goal. Guaibim's Yan Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Botelho in the 93rd minute of play. Gualter Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Baiano having to interfere. Betim Saint Italian were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guaibim for a fine match.
