An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Pena in the 6th minute of play forced ChessTosterone SC's goalkeeper Edmundo Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Benedito Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Camba rufa city's Durval Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Mota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benjamim Paiva hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Camba rufa city getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Osvaldinho Macedo hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Camba rufa city's Durval Miranda made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 26 minutes, Silvério Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ChessTosterone SC and the Camba rufa city players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ChessTosterone SC's Silvério Recife got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Tibúrcio Garcia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ChessTosterone SC's Edmundo Mota didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Durval Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Mota was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The supporters of Camba rufa city booed when ChessTosterone SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Durval Miranda put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Edmundo Mota. Durval Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nico Pena came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Camba rufa city fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Pena couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute of the match Patrício Cordeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmundo Mota showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 47th minute of the match Silvério Recife completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Silvério Recife a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 47 played minutes ChessTosterone SC got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Recife. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Pena in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Mota saved ChessTosterone SC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico Pena to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Nico Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to ChessTosterone SC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rogério Freire hit a great ball. Durval Miranda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Edmundo Mota when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edmundo Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval Miranda in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, ChessTosterone SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Pena came free, but Edmundo Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Tarcisio Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Patrício Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camba rufa city's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ChessTosterone SC the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Nico Pena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmundo Mota. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 87th minute Durval Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes ChessTosterone SC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Neto. 90 minutes into the match, Durval Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo Mota. ChessTosterone SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durval Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Benedito Barbosa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Durval Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camba rufa city's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
