Gualter Leal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Viela F.C booed when Mauá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualter Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Amadeu de Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Sá. Mauá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeu de Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Viela F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Moraes came free, but Humberto das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Amadeu de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauá's Lucas Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Amadeu de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauá's Lucas Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmílson Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 40thth minute of the game Amadeu de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauá's Lucas Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Cordaryal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mazinho Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Doriva Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeu de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeu de Castro in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucas Sá, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Nilmar Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viela F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualter Leal got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 70 played minutes Mauá got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Leal. Flavio Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucas Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amadeu de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Amadeu de Castro lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Lucas Sá. Amadeu de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Sá having to interfere. Amadeu de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lucas Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazinho Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Sá having to interfere. Viela F.C's Flavio Cordaryal got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro came free and shot a quick shot against goal 93 minutes in the game, fortunately Lucas Sá had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The Mauá fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Viela F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
