The supporters of Viela F.C booed when ChessTosterone SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ediberto Quadros struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Edmundo Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viela F.C. Amadeu de Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeu de Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. After 29 played minutes Viela F.C got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Monteiro. After 30 played minutes ChessTosterone SC got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Barbosa. The long shot by Valdir Monteiro in the 33rd minute really tested Edmundo Mota's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Amadeu de Castro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Edmundo Mota when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Flavio Cordaryal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Edmundo Mota made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu de Castro got free with Edmundo Mota in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, ChessTosterone SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Salles to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Salles hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giuseppe Neto was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Amadeu de Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Mota was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Edmundo Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu de Castro in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, ChessTosterone SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Mota having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Amadeu de Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Mota was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu de Castro's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Viela F.C were the better team. Viela F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
