Spectators: 7055 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dorival Peres kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Quirino in the 5th minute of play forced Angicalinho's goalkeeper Durvalino de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes Angicalinho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Duarte Quirino who took care of the corner kick. Angicalinho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Alfredão Recife scored to the left of an out of position Durvalino de Sena, making the score, 1-0. If Dorival Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Canelas FC's Duarte Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durvalino de Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Álvaro Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Renatinho Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durvalino de Sena had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Duarte Quirino from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Renatinho Palmeira was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Renatinho Palmeira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Aníbal Amaral's late challenge caught a Canelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Canelas FC booed when Angicalinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonathan Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canelas FC's Duarte Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Álvaro Capixaba made a kick off. When Duarte Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Canelas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Quirino couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the game, Canelas FC's Duarte Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durvalino de Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Angicalinho's Durvalino de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Peres in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Angicalinho's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Peres came free, but Durvalino de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angicalinho's Álvaro Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canelas FC's Hélder Andrade was substituted for Tostão Cardoso. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Dorival Peres got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 70 minutes into the match. Canelas FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Angicalinho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Quirino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aílton Carneiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Durvalino de Sena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aníbal Amaral was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Durvalino de Sena came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Canelas FC's Dorival Peres. But to his dismay, Dorival Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Duarte Quirino might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durvalino de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Quirino ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Dorival Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durvalino de Sena. Angicalinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorival Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Duarte Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino de Sena having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Canelas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
