The supporters of Ponta da Praia FC booed when GPORT F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Wiliam Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponta da Praia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Amauri Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ponta da Praia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Baptista couldn't finish the play. Silas Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Edmílson Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Baiano in the 93rd minute of the match. Wanderson Linares hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ponta da Praia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
