After a defensive mix-up in Secundo AD's zone, Robinho Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Xavier came out of the goal and Robinho Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Robinho Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Alvenápolis F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robinho Fontes couldn't finish the play. Patrick Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tostão Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Robinho Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Tostão Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robinho Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robinho Fontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafa Xavier having to make a save. Rafa Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Robinho Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvenápolis F.C.'s protests and gave Robinho Fontes a yellow card for diving instead.
