Spectators: 5785 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 308, VIP seats: 75) Wanderson Romero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benedito Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedito Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neverland made a substitution. Jânio Amorim replaced Cássio Prestes. Wanderson Romero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of João Adolfo Gaspar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 9th minute Célio Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Neverland's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Meireles came free, but Cícero Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Oscar Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute José Pedro Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Wanderson Romero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Adolfo Gaspar. Wanderson Romero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Neverland's Isaltino Motta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Cícero Moreira came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Éosguri's Osvaldinho Meireles. But to his dismay, Osvaldinho Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cícero Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Freitas in the 29th minute of play. Gilson Aguiar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. João Adolfo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Vargas in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Meireles in the 36th minute of play forced Neverland's goalkeeper Cícero Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neverland's Cícero Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Meireles in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Donato was the one to do the kick off. Isaltino Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanderson Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Jorginho Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match Giovani Mandrak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cícero Moreira skillfully saved the ball. Osvaldinho Meireles hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. João Adolfo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Queiroz in the 68th minute of the match. If Wanderson Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Romero in the 75th minute of play. Christiano Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Cícero Moreira made a huge save. Oscar Vargas took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Adolfo Gaspar. João Adolfo Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Wanderson Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Gaspar having to interfere. Cícero Moreira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Giovani Mandrak. When the referee ended the match the Neverland players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
