A nice corner shot did that Eriberto Quirino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basílio Toscano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-0 when João Paulo Cardozo sped through São Paulo Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basílio Toscano. Gilberto Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of São Paulo Futebol Clube booed when Ultra Copos BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ultra Copos BR's João Paulo Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dieguinho Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ultra Copos BR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of São Paulo Futebol Clube for a fine match.
