Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adilson Moura kicked off to start the match. When Clemente Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vereda's protests and gave Clemente Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Clemente Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adilson Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Nunes having to interfere. If Rodrigo Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bulhufas F.C's Franklin Alves got control of the ball when Umberto Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franklin Alves made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Umberto Barreto sent off a good shot on target. When Umberto Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Vereda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Barreto couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes Bulhufas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Sanches. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Proença in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Umberto Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Franklin Alves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marco Guedes's late challenge caught a Vereda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Marco Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauã Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauã Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kauã Soeiro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Franklin Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Proença in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Bulhufas F.C getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Álvaro Porto hit a great ball. Vereda's Guto Silveira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bulhufas F.C. After a defensive mix-up in Bulhufas F.C's zone, João Pedro Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Alves came out of the goal and João Pedro Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Franklin Alves managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Vereda's Umberto Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Pedro Proença was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes in the game, Umberto Barreto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Vereda's João Pedro Proença in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bulhufas F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Umberto Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Alves having to interfere. Bulhufas F.C's Franklin Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Proença in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Vereda's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Moura came free, but Jailson Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jailson Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Proença in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes of play, Vereda's João Pedro Proença made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franklin Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bulhufas F.C's goalkeeper Franklin Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bulhufas F.C's Franklin Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Proença in the 81st minute of play. Umberto Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pedro Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franklin Alves having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, João Pedro Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vereda's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When João Pedro Proença came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Vereda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Proença couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bulhufas F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vereda.
