Washington Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Dracena having to interfere. Marcelo Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Real Olympic got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Sá. Tião Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jailson Velasco made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Thomás Souza sent off a good shot on target. The Stants Germany fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Stants Germany's Tião Peixoto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Josué Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Lucas in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Dracena saved Real Olympic from getting behind. Jailson Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Eusébio Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio de Souza in the 27th minute of the match. Thomás Souza struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jailson Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Olympic. Real Olympic's Eusébio Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Lima in the 40th minute of play. Marcelo Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Eliseu Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Stants Germany were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jailson Gonçalves made a kick off. Eusébio Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Evandro Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Dracena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Lima showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. Eusébio Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Stants Germany booed when Real Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stants Germany getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Tião Peixoto hit a great ball. Washington Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Washington Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Marcelo Lima hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With his leg Eusébio Dracena managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Stants Germany's Marcelo Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Washington Pereira in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eusébio Dracena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 82 minutes of play, Stants Germany's Evandro Lucas made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Real Olympic's zone, Washington Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Dracena came out of the goal and Washington Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Evandro Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Olympic's zone, Marcelo Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Dracena came out of the goal and Marcelo Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Washington Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Dracena was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 96thth minute of the game Marcelo Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Olympic's Eusébio Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Stants Germany could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Olympic throughout the match.
