Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bulhufas F.C's Adilson Moura in the 9th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jean Sergipano was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Time do Povo through an amazing save. Franklin Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Lira in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Kléberson Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Time do Povo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bulhufas F.C the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Time do Povo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Time do Povo's Kléberson Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Time do Povo's Oscar Gaspar got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Sergipano having to interfere. If Osmar Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Lopes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Franklin Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Time do Povo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Moura in the 43rd minute of play forced Time do Povo's goalkeeper Jean Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adilson Moura made a kick off. Osmar Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Time do Povo's Osmar Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Adilson Moura came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Bulhufas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Moura couldn't finish the play. Adilson Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmar Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guilherme Sanches hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Osmar Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adhemar Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Adilson Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean Sergipano. Time do Povo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adilson Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bulhufas F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Time do Povo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
