Murillo Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hooligans F.C's Carlo Cardano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jailson Nunes. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Laerte Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hooligans F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laerte Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Umberto Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorginho Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Soeiro in the 15th minute of play. Jailson Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Arantes in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Vereda got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Ramalho. The supporters of Hooligans F.C booed when Vereda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jailson Nunes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Jailson Nunes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vereda's Jailson Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Vereda from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Vereda getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Kauã Soeiro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hooligans F.C's Laerte Arantes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jailson Nunes. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Pedro Proença stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Hooligans F.C got a freekick which was hit by Xenophon Cambuquira. In the 56th minute, Vereda's Kauã Soeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorginho Paulista. Jorginho Paulista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Carlo Cardano scored 4-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jailson Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Vereda booed when Hooligans F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murillo Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Rodolfo Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Vereda's Umberto Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Murillo Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vereda's Murillo Rezende got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Sharkiy in the 79th minute of play forced Vereda's goalkeeper Jailson Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Hooligans F.C's Jeremias do Nascimento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jeremias do Nascimento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hooligans F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jeremias do Nascimento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Hooligans F.C:s Jorginho Paulista showed great skill when he stopped Guto Silveira:s penalty. Sidney Quintal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorginho Paulista came out and tried to block the shot, but Sidney Quintal slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 85th minute. In the 90th match minute, Hooligans F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Cardano to maneuver through the defense. Vereda's Jailson Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Cardano in the 93rd minute of play.
