Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Pimenta got the match started through his kick off. Ezequiel Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Virgílio Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Olívio Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SóCapimCanela FC's Richard Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Maurinho Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Leme. SóCapimCanela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurinho Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. SóCapimCanela FC's Richard Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SóCapimCanela FC from getting a goal against them. If Bernardo Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Osvaldo Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Pimenta in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Leme saved SóCapimCanela FC from getting behind. Richard Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurinho Siqueira in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Bernardo Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Richard Leme. SóCapimCanela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Red Dragon's Maurinho Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Maurinho Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Richard Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Dante in the 43rd minute of play forced Red Dragon's goalkeeper Virgílio Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Virgílio Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SóCapimCanela FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Hélio Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SóCapimCanela FC booed when Red Dragon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Leme having to interfere. Bernardo Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Red Dragon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SóCapimCanela FC for a fine match.
