Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mathias Falcão started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Dante in the 5th minute of play forced Araguaina Fc's goalkeeper Amauri de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Murilo Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Araguaina Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo Xavier couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington Nóbrega during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Falcão in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to SóCapimCanela FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Osvaldo Moraes hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Narciso Soares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SóCapimCanela FC's Richard Leme didn't even have to move. Carlos Eduardo Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Eduardo Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Araguaina Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Erik Viana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amauri de Queirós skillfully saved the ball. Sandrinho Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Amauri de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amauri de Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Murilo Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SóCapimCanela FC's Richard Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Falcão in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SóCapimCanela FC's zone, Mathias Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Leme came out of the goal and Mathias Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Murilo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Raimundo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Richard Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Araguaina Fc's Júlio Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 53 played minutes SóCapimCanela FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Moraes. Murilo Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes in the game, Mathias Falcão dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. SóCapimCanela FC's Richard Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Falcão in the 63rd minute of play. During the 64th minute of the match Washington Nóbrega completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Washington Nóbrega a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 65th minute, Washington Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Falcão in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Leme saved SóCapimCanela FC from getting behind. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SóCapimCanela FC! In the 72nd minute, Ezequiel Cardozo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amauri de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 76th minute, Ezequiel Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Xavier in the 78th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Narciso Soares led 82 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SóCapimCanela FC's Richard Leme became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Falcão in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Raimundo Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araguaina Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Araguaina Fc's Mathias Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Araguaina Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SóCapimCanela FC throughout the match.
