Ramiro de Almeida placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Maurício Toledo in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernani Freire, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 7 minutes into the match, Confrade A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Yan Arruda came free, but Percy Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Maurício Toledo rounded Olaria A.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Percy Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Arruda in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Confrade A.C.'s Ramiro de Almeida dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Hernani Freire was a little too slow when Maurício Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Maurício Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hernani Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Juarês Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Confrade A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernani Freire was a little too slow when Maurício Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 4-0. Maurício Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Freire having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olaria A.C.'s zone, Juarês Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Freire came out of the goal and Juarês Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Olaria A.C. booed when Confrade A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurício Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Toledo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernani Freire saved Olaria A.C. from getting behind. Confrade A.C.'s Juarês Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Maurício Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Hernani Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the game, Juarês Chaves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bernardo Bueno struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Percy Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olaria A.C.. Hernani Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro de Almeida in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Confrade A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Chaves. In the 67th minute, Rodrigo Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Percy Freire. Confrade A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Percy Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Barreto in the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Olaria A.C. defense, Maurício Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernani Freire. The Olaria A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernani Freire should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Maurício Toledo sped through Olaria A.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernani Freire. When Maurício Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Confrade A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Toledo couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Márcio Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Confrade A.C.'s Maurício Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ramiro de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Confrade A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Confrade A.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
