After 5 played minutes SAJianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Sena. Samuel de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernando Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Prata in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, Onze Extremos F.C's Elivélton Prata made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gernando Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Onze Extremos F.C's Fábio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino de Salles in the 15th minute of play. Severino de Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábio Cordeiro having to make a save. If Elivélton Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAJianos FC's Gernando Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel de Medeiros in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, SAJianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Prata came free, but Gernando Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gernando Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Onze Extremos F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gernando Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Samuel de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. Gernando Saldanha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elivélton Prata showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play.
