Red Dragon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XUXA 16 the free kick. After 31 played minutes Red Dragon got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Varela. In the 72nd minute Válbson Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. XUXA 16's Clemente Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Pimenta in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Red Dragon's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Galvão came free, but Virgílio Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The XUXA 16 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Red Dragon's performance. The match ended with a win for Red Dragon.
