Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lauro Coelho started the match with the kick off. Fábio Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Padilha's Lauro Coelho. But to his dismay, Lauro Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfredão Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Osmar de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fábio Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizinho Mazza during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luizinho Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Osmar de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Cordeiro having to interfere. A collision led to Onze Extremos F.C getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cristiano Vargas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Prata in the 33rd minute of play forced Padilha's goalkeeper Renatinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauro Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fábio Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Onze Extremos F.C's Ernesto Cavalcante got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Padilha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton Prata made a kick off. Samuel de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renatinho Moura having to make a save. In the 53rd minute, Samuel de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Elivélton Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renatinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Samuel de Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renatinho Moura was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After having played for 65 minutes, Samuel de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onze Extremos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elivélton Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onze Extremos F.C were furious when Jeferson Arantes was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Onze Extremos F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Padilha:s goal. Osmar de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Cordeiro having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Lauro Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Onze Extremos F.C's Fábio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Coelho in the 91st minute of play. Padilha's Lauro Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osmar de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Cordeiro having to interfere. Padilha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
