Hernani Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Prata in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Yan Arruda made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Cordeiro. Onze Extremos F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olaria A.C.'s goalkeeper Hernani Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Yan Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Onze Extremos F.C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ernesto Vianna hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gilmar Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olaria A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yan Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fábio Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Arruda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. Fábio Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Fábio Cordeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Olaria A.C.'s Yan Arruda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Yan Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olaria A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yan Arruda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fábio Cordeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Onze Extremos F.C defense, Rodrigo Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fábio Cordeiro. The Onze Extremos F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Bernardo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Elivélton Prata made the kick off in the second half. Samuel de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernani Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Onze Extremos F.C getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cristiano Vargas hit a great ball. After 58 minutes of play, Olaria A.C.'s Gilmar Barreto made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fábio Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yan Arruda took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Cordeiro. Fábio Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 66th minute Gilmar Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Onze Extremos F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olaria A.C.:s goal. Samuel de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Hernani Freire made a huge save. Elivélton Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilmar Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Arruda in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luizinho Mazza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernani Freire. Olaria A.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Elivélton Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gilmar Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaria A.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
