The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafa Vale helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Cabedelos got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Vale. Cabedelos's Gilvan Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Cabedelos from getting a goal against them. Adhemar Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luizinho Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gilvan Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracuja. Gilvan Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauro Veloso in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Maracuja's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Paes came free, but Murillo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabedelos's goalkeeper Gilvan Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guto Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Antunes having to interfere. Murillo Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ulisses Paes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Murillo Antunes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Murillo Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gilvan Lara made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Lauro Veloso sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro de Castro got free with Gilvan Lara in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Ismael Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizinho Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulisses Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Murillo Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Maracuja's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Paes came free, but Murillo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Guto Favoretto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. After 45 played minutes, Cabedelos's Rafa Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Murillo Antunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabedelos reached it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guto Favoretto to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Guto Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Antunes came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabedelos's Guto Favoretto. But to his dismay, Guto Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maracuja's goalkeeper Murillo Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Cabedelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Paes scored 0-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Murillo Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guto Favoretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murillo Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guto Favoretto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Cabedelos's Guto Favoretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Murillo Antunes. Murillo Antunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Paes got free with Murillo Antunes in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Guto Favoretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murillo Antunes was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Murillo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Favoretto in the 84th minute of play. Guto Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caco Pena hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cabedelos's Joaquim Paranaense tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cabedelos played a much better game than Maracuja and deserved their victory. The Maracuja players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
