Fiori da Mata was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 33 minutes into the match, Frédson Donato notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Atenas Itaim Pta ZL SP's Fiori da Mata. Fiori da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedê Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Dé Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fiori da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atenas Itaim Pta ZL SP's Fiori da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Trevisan in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Base Esporte Clube were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Base Esporte Clube's Reynaldo Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atenas Itaim Pta ZL SP's Fiori da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Maranhense in the 54th minute of play. Fiori da Mata made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Dé Prado sent off a good shot on target. Narciso Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Jacinto Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Base Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Mendes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jacinto Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fiori da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori da Mata was a little too slow when Jacinto Trevisan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-9. Base Esporte Clube's Frédson Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Narciso Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-10 became the score in the 94th minute when Jacinto Trevisan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Atenas Itaim Pta ZL SP fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Base Esporte Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
