Gilvan Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Ribeiro in the 10th minute of play. Gil Brodel hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Guto Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulisses Paes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Paulo Paiva firmly grabbed it by the left post. Guto Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Paiva having to interfere. Industrial Futebol Clube's José Paulo Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Industrial Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Industrial Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jean Bittencourt hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ulisses Paes could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which José Paulo Paiva however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 31 minutes, Ulisses Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabedelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Favoretto in the 33rd minute of play forced Industrial Futebol Clube's goalkeeper José Paulo Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Industrial Futebol Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guto Favoretto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cabedelos's Ulisses Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Industrial Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Favoretto came free, but José Paulo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mathias Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Industrial Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Mendes to maneuver through the defense.

Wesley Massa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilvan Lara came out and tried to block the shot, but Wesley Massa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. 61 minutes into the match, Cabedelos's Ulisses Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Paulo Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Wesley Massa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilvan Lara. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Guto Favoretto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Paulo Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Industrial Futebol Clube's José Paulo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Favoretto in the 70th minute of play. José Paulo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Favoretto in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cabedelos's Rafa Vale got a free kick in the 82nd minute. José Paulo Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Industrial Futebol Clube's José Paulo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Paes in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Industrial Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
