Base Esporte Clube's Wiliam Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Trevisan in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Base Esporte Clube's Frédson Donato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dé Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Carioca having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Jacinto Trevisan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Fabinho Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th play minute Fabinho Maranhense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Felippe Carioca. 2-0. Jacinto Trevisan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Base Esporte Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Narciso Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Jacinto Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Dé Prado made a precise shot to the right of Felippe Carioca. Barbosa Family United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Wiliam Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Trevisan in the 29th minute of the match. Jacinto Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Felippe Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, João Adolfo Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Base Esporte Clube and the Barbosa Family United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacinto Trevisan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felippe Carioca came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Trevisan slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 39th minute. Barbosa Family United's Felippe Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Maranhense in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Base Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Maranhense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Trevisan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Araújo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Felippe Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Base Esporte Clube. The supporters of Barbosa Family United booed when Base Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Jacinto Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Barbosa Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Trevisan came free, but Felippe Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Duarte Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiliam Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frédson Favoretto in the 65th minute. Dorian Paulista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felippe Carioca having to make a save. Frédson Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Trevisan in the 74th minute of play forced Barbosa Family United's goalkeeper Felippe Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Trevisan in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felippe Carioca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacinto Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Carioca having to interfere. João Adolfo Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Jacinto Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dé Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Base Esporte Clube were the better team. Base Esporte Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
