Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Délio Zanette kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Délio Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Fogo Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizão de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Washington Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Luizão de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Washington Barros made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vila regina's Luizão de Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Vila regina's Luiz Gustavo Alagoano in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CA Fogo Central's goalie prevented a goal. Délio Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Washington Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão de Sousa having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Perivaldo Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Barros scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 minutes of play, CA Fogo Central's Délio Zanette made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizão de Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Washington Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Vila regina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Fogo Central were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Ademar Luz made the kick off in the second half. Perivaldo Gonçalves's late challenge caught a CA Fogo Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vila regina's Perivaldo Gonçalves got a free kick in the 51st minute. When CA Fogo Central's Délio Zanette in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vila regina's goalie prevented a goal. If Ademar Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe de Senna hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Vila regina got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Leão. CA Fogo Central's Washington Barros managed to work through Vila regina's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Washington Barros dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Vila regina's Luizão de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Zanette in the 65th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jeremias Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vila regina's Luizão de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Zanette in the 73rd minute of play. Washington Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes Délio Zanette rounded Vila regina's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. In the 84th minute, Kauan Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Délio Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the CA Fogo Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Délio Zanette couldn't finish the play. Vila regina's Luizão de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Zanette in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of CA Fogo Central booed when Vila regina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA Fogo Central's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
