Cola na banca F.C.S's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Cola na banca F.C.S's Luizinho Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murillo Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 26th play minute Lauro Veloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valdo Santana. 2-2. Álvaro de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Valdo Santana made a huge save. Anderson Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Valdo Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Custódio in the 33rd minute of play. Baltazar Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Cola na banca F.C.S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Veiga to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleiton Paulista in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murillo Antunes saved Maracuja from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleiton Paulista was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Luizinho Sampaio made a precise shot to the right of Valdo Santana. Cola na banca F.C.S's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a rather tough play, Cola na banca F.C.S's Anderson Donatello got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maracuja's zone, Luizinho Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Antunes came out of the goal and Luizinho Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleiton Paulista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 71st playminute. Luizinho Oliveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Murillo Antunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 75 minutes into the match, Cola na banca F.C.S's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro de Castro came free, but Valdo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cola na banca F.C.S getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Anderson Donatello hit a great ball. Valdo Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Baltazar Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Murillo Antunes made a huge save. Murillo Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleiton Paulista got free with Murillo Antunes in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maracuja's Murillo Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Maracuja from getting a goal against them.
