Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacinto Trevisan kicked off to start the match. Lauro Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dé Prado took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Antunes. Murillo Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Sampaio in the 10th minute of play forced Base Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wiliam Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Base Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Maranhense. After a defensive mix-up in Base Esporte Clube's zone, Lauro Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Bastos came out of the goal and Lauro Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio Custódio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Jacinto Trevisan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murillo Antunes, 2-0. Murillo Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Trevisan's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Wiliam Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Veloso in the 26th minute of the match. Base Esporte Clube's Wiliam Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Sampaio in the 28th minute of play. Murillo Antunes came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Base Esporte Clube's Frédson Donato. But to his dismay, Frédson Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Maracuja's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jacinto Trevisan 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Murillo Antunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Trevisan went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luizinho Sampaio to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Dé Prado made a precise shot to the right of Murillo Antunes. Maracuja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some careless play in the Maracuja defense, Narciso Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murillo Antunes. The Maracuja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murillo Antunes should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jacinto Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Base Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Maracuja's zone, Narciso Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Antunes came out of the goal and Narciso Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Trevisan couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murillo Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. João Adolfo Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maracuja's Murillo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Prado in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Base Esporte Clube were the better team. Base Esporte Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
