Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hílton Correia got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Meaipe AD's Paulo José Netto got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Meaipe AD's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Correia came free, but Edgard Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Recife took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Schmidt. Michel Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Geovanni Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Arlindo Ferraz could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Edgard Pirani however easily saved by the left post. Edgard Pirani made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Arlindo Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Armandinho Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hílton Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Pirani was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Aloísio Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meaipe AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloísio Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aloísio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Armandinho Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Schmidt was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Aloísio Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Meaipe AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armandinho Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. Aloísio Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Michel Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Recife got free with Michel Schmidt in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Meaipe AD's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Correia came free, but Edgard Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barracao's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meaipe AD's Paulo José Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Aloísio Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meaipe AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aloísio Recife fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meaipe AD's protests and gave Aloísio Recife a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Meaipe AD got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Recife. If Aloísio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Schmidt having to interfere. Michel Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armandinho Salles in the 88th minute. Aloísio Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Aloísio Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meaipe AD's Edgard Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Correia in the 96th minute of play. Meaipe AD played a much better game than Barracao and deserved their victory. The Barracao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
