Zeca Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cibauma. After having played for 28 minutes, Edgar Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cibauma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denílson Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Nestor Catarinense in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cibauma's Denílson Almeida. Edgar Moreno struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Zeca Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cibauma.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrício Rosa to make the kick off. Nando Vinhas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Although Cibauma had been in control for most of the match, Flamengo Castilla still came away with the win.
