Arí Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dito Moreira's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Arí Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of UsGuri booed when Theophilus SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arí Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Cruz in the 36th minute of the match. Arí Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dito Moreira's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. UsGuri's Cristian Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save UsGuri from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Giuseppe Quirino took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cristian Neto to make any attempt to save it. Gino Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Arí Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arí Fontes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Tostão de Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Arí Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabiano Terra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arí Fontes. Theophilus SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dito Moreira in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arí Fontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dito Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Fontes having to interfere.
