But to his dismay, Walmir Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Amauri Vasconcelos scored 1-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Paraibano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zandonadi FC's Lucas Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Vasconcelos in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Vianna in the 23rd minute of play forced Zandonadi FC's goalkeeper Lucas Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauri Vasconcelos in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amauri Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amauri Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. Zandonadi FC's Lucas Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Zandonadi FC from getting a goal against them. If José Carlos da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Amauri Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Amauri Vasconcelos could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Lucas Paraibano however easily saved by the left post. Walmir Vianna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Paraibano came out and tried to block the shot, but Walmir Vianna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 68th minute. Zandonadi FC's Lucas Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Zandonadi FC from getting a goal against them. Amauri Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Lucas Paraibano made a huge save. A collision led to Zandonadi FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. José Carlos da Mata hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Carlos Alberto Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF and the Zandonadi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amauri Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zandonadi FC throughout the match.
