After 15 played minutes Galópolis FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Pitta. After some careless play in the Galópolis FC defense, Walmir Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Hajduk. The Galópolis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Hajduk should have stopped the shot. Egídio Cordeiro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Amauri Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Hajduk. Galópolis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amauri Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
