When UsGuri's Dito Moreira in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguai's goalie prevented a goal. Dito Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dito Moreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Nico de Queirós skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Albertinho de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in UsGuri's zone, Albertinho de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Neto came out of the goal and Albertinho de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dito Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico de Queirós having to interfere. Dito Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Uruguai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Alves to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Uruguai's Nico de Queirós got control of the ball when Tostão de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute Dito Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Uruguai getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Edmundo Queirós hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Tostão de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UsGuri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dito Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, UsGuri's Tostão de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nico de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 58th minute, Dito Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nico de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Romeu Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dito Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico de Queirós having to interfere. Ernani Sergipano hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Uruguai's Amílton Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristian Neto. Cristian Neto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Maicon Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Moreira in the 83rd minute of play. When Tostão de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the UsGuri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão de Moraes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Dito Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. UsGuri's supporters rose to their feet, but Dito Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dito Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Renatinho Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the UsGuri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatinho Domingues couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the UsGuri players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
