Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 100) Filipe Mello made the kick off and thus started the match. Betão Meirelles came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by L.Kings F.C.'s Túlio de Lara. But to his dismay, Túlio de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Studi Antes's Filipe Mello in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye L.Kings F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Lenílson Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenílson Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Studi Antes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Luciano Trevisan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luizão Seco having to make a save. After 24 played minutes, Studi Antes's Delfim Domingues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luizão Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Studi Antes reached it. 26 minutes into the match, Studi Antes's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Sarmento came free, but Betão Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, L.Kings F.C.'s Cafu Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Meirelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Filipe Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Filipe Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cafu Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, L.Kings F.C.'s Remo Marquez got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cafu Sarmento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cafu Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Betão Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Seco having to interfere. Dino Penha was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, one of L.Kings F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for L.Kings F.C.. Luizão Seco went to the wrong direction when Lenílson Varela was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Filipe Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luizão Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Carlos Augusto Arósio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio de Lara got free with Betão Meirelles in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Filipe Mello came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Studi Antes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Mello couldn't finish the play. Luizão Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Trevisan in the 92nd minute of the match. When Filipe Mello came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Studi Antes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Mello couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched L.Kings F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
