Túlio de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Cafu Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luizão Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hílton Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Sarmento in the 86th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Laerte de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. L.Kings F.C.'s Túlio de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. L.Kings F.C. had won after a very even match.
